Ranger Oil recorded an increase of 37.04% in total oil and gas production to 58,904.4 boe/d in June 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData ’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Ranger Oil grew 3.59% in June 2020 from 56,863.15 boe/d in June 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 4.9% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production grew 47.41% to 41,089.15 bd in June 2020 from the previous month, while gas production up by 18.56% to 87.4 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 2.58% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production rose by 12.22%. Out of the total oil and gas production in June 2020, oil production held a 69.76% share, while gas production held a 25.58% share.


Looking at the states where Ranger Oil recorded the highest oil and gas production in June 2020, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 58,346.59 boe/d in the state in June 2020, an increase of 37.42% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 3,35,161.5 boe/d in Texas in 2020, recording an increase of 3.88% from the same period in 2019.



Ranger Oil witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Lavaca county in June 2020. Out of all the counties, Lavaca county held a share of 38.53% for the firm. The company produced 22,697.45 boe/d in Lavaca county in June 2020, an increase of 22.37% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,28,931.7 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 15.51% decrease from the same period in 2019.
