Ruwais Diyab is a unconventional gas development located onshore the UAE and is operated by TotalEnergies. Discovered in 2019, Ruwais Diyab lies in block Ruwais Diyab Unconventional Gas Concession.
The project is currently in construction stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025. The Ruwais Diyab unconventional gas development will involve the drilling of approximately six wells and includes wellhead platform.

Production from Ruwais Diyab
Production from the Ruwais Diyab unconventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2020 and is forecast to peak in 2035, to approximately 1000 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2056.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 913.63 Mmboe, comprised of 5,481.77 bcf of natural gas reserves.
