Sabar is a conventional oil development located onshore Indonesia and is operated by PetroChina International Jabung. Discovered in 2002, Sabar lies in block Jabung.
The project is currently in construction stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2022.

The field is owned by Petroliam Nasional, China National Petroleum and PT Pertamina (Persero).
Production from Sabar
Production from the Sabar conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2022 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 1,899 bpd of crude oil and condensate and 55 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 32.11 Mmboe, comprised of 5.46 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 159.9 bcf of natural gas reserves.
