Sage Energy recorded an increase of 119.8% in total oil and gas production to 491 boe/d in June 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Sage Energy declined 20.78% in June 2020 from 619.77 boe/d in June 2019.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 36.17% from the same period in 2019.

The company’s oil production grew 276.74% to 256.03 bd in June 2020 from the previous month, while gas production up by 51.11% to 1.36 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 45.32% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production declined by 21.93%. Out of the total oil and gas production in June 2020, oil production held a 52.14% share, while gas production held a 47.76% share.


Looking at the states where Sage Energy recorded the highest oil and gas production in June 2020, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 491 boe/d in the state in June 2020, an increase of 119.8% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,449.28 boe/d in Texas in 2020, recording a decrease of 36.17% from the same period in 2019.



Sage Energy witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Dimmit county in June 2020. Out of all the counties, Dimmit county held a share of 63.87% for the firm. The company produced 313.58 boe/d in Dimmit county in June 2020, an increase of 144.35% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,550.06 boe/d for the company in 2020, a 41.39% decrease from the same period in 2019.
