Saqqara is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Egypt and is operated by Gulf Of Suez Petroleum. The field is located in block Merged Concession, Gupco Merged Develpoment Lease, and LL 87 (1&2) Development Lease, with water depth of 85 feet.

Production from Saqqara
The Saqqara conventional oil field recovered 69.76% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2009. The peak production was approximately 34.51 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 30 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2050. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
