Scotia CBM Field, Australia

Scotia is a producing cbm field located onshore Australia and is operated by Bronco Energy. The field is located in block ATP 868P and ATP 803P.

An expansion project is associated with the Scotia, namely Scotia Phase 3. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

Field participation details

The field is owned by Santos, TotalEnergies, Petroliam Nasional and Korea Gas.

Production from Scotia

The Scotia cbm field recovered 45.73% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2020. The peak production was approximately 83 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2049.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 44.52 Mmboe, comprised of 267.13 bcf of natural gas reserves. Scotia cbm field reserves accounts 1.05% of total remaining reserves of producing cbm fields globally.
