Secoya is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Ecuador and is operated by Petroamazonas EP. The field is located in block Block 57 (Shushufindi Libertador).

Production from Secoya
The Secoya conventional oil field recovered 73.97% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2002. The peak production was approximately 15.7 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 12 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2047. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 23.48 Mmboe, comprised of 21.41 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 12.41 bcf of natural gas reserves. Secoya conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
