Seymour is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Chrysaor North Sea. The field is located in block 22/5b REST OF BLOCK EXCLUDING ARMADA, with water depth of 295 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Seymour, namely Seymour NW Infill Development. This project is currently in the feasibility stage, expected to start in 2024.
Field participation details
The field is owned by Harbour Energy.
Production from Seymour
The Seymour conventional gas field recovered 92.07% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 2.84 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 74 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2030.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2.9 Mmboe, comprised of 1.99 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 5.42 bcf of natural gas reserves.
