Production from Silvertip

The Silvertip heavy oil field recovered 50.55% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2013. The peak production was approximately 9.38 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 6 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2043.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 27.64 Mmboe, comprised of 24.98 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 15.95 bcf of natural gas reserves. Silvertip heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.06% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
