South East Sumatra PSC is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Indonesia and is operated by PT Pertamina Hulu Energy Offshore Southeast Sumatra. The field is located in block Southeast Sumatra, with water depth of 120 feet.

Production from South East Sumatra PSC

The South East Sumatra PSC conventional oil field recovered 92.96% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1991. The peak production was approximately 213.42 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2029. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 96.36 Mmboe, comprised of 55.77 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 243.55 bcf of natural gas reserves. South East Sumatra PSC conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
