Production from South Pars Phase 13
The South Pars Phase 13 conventional gas field recovered 14.14% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 87.94 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 1,939 Mmcfd of natural gas and 54.8 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2,722.53 Mmboe, comprised of 309.79 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 13,036.19 bcf of natural gas reserves and 240.03 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. South Pars Phase 13 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.93% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
