Production from South Pars Phase 19
The South Pars Phase 19 conventional gas field recovered 27.34% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2018. The peak production was approximately 84.7 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 1,940 Mmcfd of natural gas and 46.15 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2059. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2,463.76 Mmboe, comprised of 239.7 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 11,201.72 bcf of natural gas reserves and 357.1 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves. South Pars Phase 19 conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.84% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
