South Sean Conventional Gas Field, UK

South Sean is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by One-Dyas UK. The field is located in block 49/25a ALL, 49/30a ALL, and 49/24e ALL, with water depth of 106 feet.

Production from South Sean

The South Sean conventional gas field recovered 25.02% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2019. The peak production was approximately 0.07 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 43 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2064.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 29.13 Mmboe, comprised of 0.11 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 174.11 bcf of natural gas reserves. South Sean conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.01% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
