South Trat is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Thailand and is operated by Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production. The field is located in block B10 and B11, with water depth of 233 feet.

Production from South Trat

The South Trat conventional gas field recovered 52.38% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2015. The peak production was approximately 1.51 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 40 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2048.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 10.76 Mmboe, comprised of 1.38 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 56.23 bcf of natural gas reserves.
