Southeast Etame is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Gabon and is operated by VAALCO Gabon. The field is located in block Etame Marin and Etame, with water depth of 260 feet.

Production from Southeast Etame

The Southeast Etame conventional oil field recovered 40.35% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 5.36 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
