Stampede is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in the US and is operated by Hess. The field is located in block Green Canyon 468, Green Canyon 512, and Green Canyon 511, with water depth of 3,621 feet.

Production from Stampede

The Stampede conventional oil field recovered 13.31% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2021. The peak production was approximately 56.38 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 29 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2044.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 202.47 Mmboe, comprised of 188.4 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 84.4 bcf of natural gas reserves. Stampede conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
