Statfjord Nord Conventional Oil Field, Norway

Statfjord Nord is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Norway and is operated by Equinor Energy. The field is located in block 33/9P (PL 037), with water depth of 954 feet.

The field is owned by Stadtwerke Munchen, HitecVision, Equinor, Eni, Centrica and Petoro.

Production from Statfjord Nord

The Statfjord Nord conventional oil field recovered 95.25% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2000. The peak production was approximately 68.85 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 12 Mmcfd of natural gas and 1.4 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2029.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 13.74 Mmboe, comprised of 13.57 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 0.25 bcf of natural gas reserves and 0.13 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
