Sugmutskoye Conventional Oil Field, Russia

Sugmutskoye is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Russia and is operated by Gazprom Neft-Noyabrskneftegaz. The field is located in block Sugmutsky.

An expansion project is associated with the Sugmutskoye, namely Sugmutskoye Stage 2. This project is currently in the approval stage.

Production from Sugmutskoye

The Sugmutskoye conventional oil field recovered 89.74% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 192.66 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2033.

Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 72.29 Mmboe, comprised of 34.79 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 224.97 bcf of natural gas reserves. Sugmutskoye conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
