Surat is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Thailand and is operated by Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production. The field is located in block B10, with water depth of 226 feet.

Production from Surat

The Surat conventional gas field recovered 90.17% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2009. The peak production was approximately 4.75 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 32 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2028.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 4.36 Mmboe, comprised of 2.13 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 13.36 bcf of natural gas reserves.
