Tamsag-21 is a producing conventional oil field located onshore Mongolia and is operated by PetroChina Daqing Tamsaq. The field is located in block Block XXI.

Production from Tamsag-21

The Tamsag-21 conventional oil field recovered 59.98% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2016. The peak production was approximately 12.05 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2039. The field currently accounts for approximately 46% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 17.8 Mmboe, comprised of 17.8 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
