Production from Tiputini
The Tiputini heavy oil field recovered 29.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 44.22 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2067. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 155.65 Mmboe, comprised of 154.94 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 4.29 bcf of natural gas reserves. Tiputini heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.36% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
