Tordis is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Norway and is operated by Equinor Energy. The field is located in block 34/7P (PL 089), with water depth of 741 feet.

Production from Tordis

The Tordis conventional oil field recovered 95.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2001. The peak production was approximately 81.87 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 33 Mmcfd of natural gas and 5.56 thousand bpd of natural gas liquids. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2029. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 19.93 Mmboe, comprised of 18.41 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 4.64 bcf of natural gas reserves and 0.75 Mmbbl of natural gas liquid reserves.
