Four expansion projects are associated with the Umm Shaif conventional oil field, namely the Umm Shaif Giant Gas Cap Development, the Umm Shaif Gas Phase 2, the Umm Shaif LTDP-1 and the Umm Shaif LTDP-2. The expansion projects are currently in the feed, feasibility and construction stage.

The Umm Shaif conventional oil field recovered 54.21% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2039. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2059. The field currently accounts for approximately 5% of the country’s daily output.
