Venus is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in Equatorial Guinea and is operated by VAALCO Energy (EG). Discovered in 2005, Venus lies in block Block P (PDA), with water depth of around 830 feet.
The project is currently in feed stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025.

Production from Venus
Production from the Venus conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2025 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 7,015 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2049.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 23.2 Mmboe, comprised of 23.2 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
