Wandoo is a producing heavy oil field located in shallow water in Australia and is operated by Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia. The field is located in block WA-14-L, with water depth of 184 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Wandoo, namely Wandoo Phase 2. This project is currently in the feasibility stage.

Production from Wandoo
The Wandoo heavy oil field recovered 84.90% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1997. The peak production was approximately 29.49 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 8 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2088.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 19.58 Mmboe, comprised of 19.58 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate. Wandoo heavy oil field reserves accounts 0.04% of total remaining reserves of producing heavy oil fields globally.
