Production from West Barracouta

The West Barracouta conventional gas field recovered 8.86% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2022. The peak production was approximately 1.04 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 104 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2035.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 44.89 Mmboe, comprised of 2.64 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 253.54 bcf of natural gas reserves. West Barracouta conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
