West Seno Conventional Gas Field, Indonesia

West Seno is a producing conventional gas field located in deepwater in Indonesia and is operated by Chevron Makassar. The field is located in block Makassar Strait, with water depth of 3,370 feet.

The field is owned by China Petrochemical, PT Pertamina (Persero) and Chevron.

Production from West Seno

The West Seno conventional gas field recovered 99.55% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2007. The peak production was approximately 24.52 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 276 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.

The field is expected to recover 0.66 Mmboe, comprised of 0.57 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.51 bcf of natural gas reserves.
