Wortel is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in Indonesia and is operated by Ophir Indonesia (Sampang). The field is located in block Sampang, with water depth of 213 feet.

Production from Wortel
The Wortel conventional gas field recovered 88.21% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2014. The peak production was approximately 0.05 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 47 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2029.
