Yombo is a producing heavy oil field located in shallow water in Congo Republic and is operated by Perenco Exploration & Production Congo. The field is located in block Marine I and Yombo, with water depth of 370 feet.

Production from Yombo

The Yombo heavy oil field recovered 78.90% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 1998. The peak production was approximately 16.25 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2038. The field currently accounts for approximately 3% of the country’s daily output.
