BP Plc plans to purchase 16.5% interest in Clair oilfield in West Shetlands, North Sea, UK, from ConocoPhillips.

The oilfield lies in a water depth of 150m, spans across five blocks and covers an area of 54,300 acres.

Based in the UK, BP is an integrated oil and gas company, while ConocoPhillips is an oil and gas company in the US.

The deal is expected to help strengthen BP’s upstream asset portfolio in the UK North Sea.

Panoro Energy ASA plans to raise Nkr54.49m ($6.67m) by issuing 4.2 million shares priced at Nkr2.82 ($1.57) a share in a private placement.

DNO ASA will subscribe to approximately 2.6 million of the shares.

Petrofac Ltd has agreed to sell its 45% interest in the Chergui field to Perenco Holdings.

The Chergui gas/condensate field is on the Kerkennah Island, 25km from Sfax city, Tunisia.

Petrofac is an oilfield services provider, while Perenco Holdings is an oil and gas company. Both parties are based in the UK.

The divestment is expected to help Petrofac focus on its core operations and strengthen Perenco’s oil and gas asset portfolio in Tunisia.

Italy-based oil and gas company Eni SpA has raised $500m by issuing senior unsecured floating rate notes due June 2026.

The transaction was executed through Eni’s subsidiary Eni Finance International SA (formerly Eni Coordination Center SA).

UAE-based Shelf Drilling has entered an agreement to acquire Ocean Scepter jack-up drilling rig from the Diamond Offshore subsidiaries for $90m.

The Ocean Scepter drilling rig was built in 2008 and features KFELS Mod Super B design. The rig is currently located in the US Gulf of Mexico and will be moved to the Middle East upon completion of the transaction.
