RDS, a subsidiary of KCA Deutag, and Kavin Engineering and Services (Kavin) have entered into a strategic alliance to combine their expertise for design and engineering projects in the upstream and midstream oil and gas markets.

A drilling facilities design and engineering specialist, RDS has been delivering projects for more than forty years and has more than 60 designs in operation. Kavin, on the other hand, provides design and engineering of process facilities for FPSO Topsides. It has delivered complete process topside solutions for seven FPSOs and single/multiple modules for around 80 FPSOs over a 16-year span.
