Norwegian firm DOF Subsea has secured two new contracts in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The company has received an IMR services contract from Chevron Australia to support its North-West Shelf and nearshore subsea assets in Australia.

As agreed, DOF Subsea will provide Chevron with DP vessels, remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicle (AUVs), and intervention, inspection, management and engineering services.

The contract builds on previous campaigns under an existing IMR services contract, adding further five years to the deal.

In a separate development, DOF Subsea has also been selected for a moorings replacement and rectification project in South East Asia.

The onshore works are currently underway while the offshore campaign is slated to begin later this quarter.

The project will see the utilisation of Skandi Hercules and Skandi Singapore vessels through to early fourth quarter of this year.

DOF Subsea CEO Mons S Aase said: “These key contract awards build on successful campaigns delivered in the past for our clients and grow our track record in the APAC region.

“We look forward to working with our clients to deliver projects safely and efficiently.”

Established in 2005, DOF Subsea focuses on delivering subsea solutions to the offshore energy industry.

The company operates a fleet of 26 vessels and more than 70 ROVs, as well as 1,200 employees.

Last year, its parent firm DOF secured contracts for three ROVs with Brazilian oil multinational Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras).
