Eni noted that the renewable energy sector will be an area of particular interest considering the potential business opportunities it offers to Bahrain.

Tatweer Petroleum CEO and Bahrain Oil Minister Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa said: “This MoU will allow for further discussion on collaboration between Tatweer Petroleum and Eni, including the sharing of experience, expertise, and support on renewable energy, LNG supply, and exploration activities.”

Shaikh Mohamed added that the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen to partner on joint projects and exchange project ideas and other innovations on the oil and gas development programmes.

Eni and Tatweer aim to target a more sustainable and efficient energy combination to meet the future energy needs of Bahrain.
