UK-based oilfield services company Petrofac’s Engineering and Production Services (EPS) division has secured a one-year engineering services contract extension from Chevron North Sea.

The contract has been held by Petrofac since 2014. The contract extension began on 30 September.

Under the contract, Petrofac will continue to offer engineering support to Chevron North Sea assets.

Chevron North Sea assets include Alba Northern, Erskine, and Captain platforms, as well as the Alba Floating Storage Unit and Captain Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading vessel.

Petrofac will also offer operations, maintenance, and construction personnel across Chevron’s five assets in the North Sea.

In January this year, Chevron awarded an offshore manning services contract to Petrofac for its North Sea project.

The scope of the three years contract allowed Petrofac’s EPS division to supply operations, maintenance, and construction personnel across five of Chevron’s North Sea assets.
