Halliburton has received a contract from ConocoPhillips to aid in the development of the high-temperature Jasmine discovery in the central North Sea.
The contract includes directional drilling, logging-while-drilling (LWD) and surface data logging (SDL) services on the field.
In the Jasmine discovery located in J-Block, temperatures are in the 175° C range.
ConocoPhillips is the operator of Jasmine field and holds a 36.5% interest.
