Saudi Aramco has given a general engineering services contract to the Al Hejailan Engineering bidding group, led by Mustang Engineering.

The contract builds a long-term framework for the supply of engineering, procurement and construction management services to support the execution of offshore oil and gas projects, as well as onshore projects within Saudi Arabia.

The contract is for five years with three one-year extension options.

Work on the contract is subject to the integration of Mustang Al-Hejailan Engineering with two Saudi-owned engineering businesses and bidding group participants Dar E&C and PI-Consult.

Mustang president Steve Knowles said that his company was delighted with the award and pleased to have been given the opportunity to strengthen its partnership with Saudi Aramco as one of its preferred providers.
