Grenland Group is to provide subsea structures to support FMC Technologies’ awards for Statoil projects in the North Sea, under three letters of intent (LoI) worth Nkr220m ($39.2m).
Under the first LoI, Grenland will manufacture and deliver one eight-slot manifold and one foundation base structure to FMC for the Ormen Lange gas project in the Norwegian Sea for Nkr140m ($24.9m).
The structures, which weigh 1,075t, will be built at Grenland’s site in Tonsberg, Norway, with deliveries beginning in the second quarter of 2011 and the final delivery in the first quarter of 2012.
Under the two other LoIs worth Nkr80m ($14.2m), Grenland will deliver two integrated template structures and two manifolds.
The total weight of these structures will be 700t and they will be supplied to FMC at the beginning of the third quarter of 2011.
