LLOG Deepwater Development Company has awarded a deepwater subsea development installation contract for the 'Who Dat' project in the Gulf of Mexico to Global Industries. The installation, which will take place in blocks MC 503 and 547 in 3000 FSW, is scheduled to begin in May this year

LLOG Deepwater Development Company has awarded a deepwater subsea development installation contract for the ‘Who Dat’ project in the Gulf of Mexico to Global Industries.

The installation, which will take place in blocks MC 503 and 547 in 3000 FSW, is scheduled to begin in May this year.

Global will install 19 miles of a 10in export oil pipeline, 17 miles of a 14in gas pipeline, 10 miles of 6in insulated rigid flowlines, nine jumpers and jumper tie-ins, six flexible risers and PLETs, three subsea manifolds and other equipment.

Four vessels – DLB Hercules, Global Orion, Olympic Challenger and Chickasa – will be used by Global to execute the project.

Global provides offshore construction, engineering, project management and support services.
