Halliburton has been awarded several contracts to provide equipment and services on two offshore blocks in the South China Sea.

The exploration programme covers two firm wells and one potential well for which Halliburton will provide directional drilling, measurement-while-drilling and logging-while-drilling services.

The firm will also provide well completion equipment and services, surface well testing and downhole drillstem testing equipment and services, as well as cementing equipment, fluids and pumping services.
