Transfield Worley Secures Contract from Woodside

Transfield Worley Services (TWS) has secured a $65m contract from Woodside to provide hook-up and commissioning (HUC) services for the North West Shelf project's North Rankin B platform in Australia. TWS is a 50/50 joint venture formed by Transfield Services and WorleyParsons.

Transfield Worley Services (TWS) has secured a $65m contract from Woodside to provide hook-up and commissioning (HUC) services for the North West Shelf project’s North Rankin B platform in Australia.

TWS is a 50/50 joint venture formed by Transfield Services and WorleyParsons.

The platform, which is operated by Woodside, is located 135km north-west of Karratha off the north coast of Western Australia.

Under the contract, TWS will provide labour and materials for the hook-up and assistance with pre-commissioning and commissioning of relevant systems for the HUC of the integrated float over deck.

Work will cover both planning and offshore implementation and is expected to begin this month and continue for 21 months.
