Qatar Petroleum Signs Agreement with JX Nippon

Qatar Petroleum has signed a 30-year agreement with JX Nippon for the exploration and production of gas off Qatar's north-east coast. JX Nippon CEO Makoto Koseki said the company pledged an initial investment of $100m and expects to invest more in the future. Koseki also said

Koseki also said that this is the first deal for the company in Qatar.
