The contracts include new oil and gas exploration acreage and previously abandoned areas.

This fourth contracting round is expected to offer about 15 oil and gas blocks with acreage in the Sulu Sea and South China Sea.

The Philippine Department of Energy will conduct a series of road shows in Singapore, Houston, London and Perth to provide all the necessary details about the licensing round.
