Alliance Engineering has secured a contract from Noble Energy to provide engineering and design services for the Tamar Platform Project, offshore Israel.

Noble Energy is the operator of the Tamar natural gas field, which is located in the eastern Mediterranean Sea’s Levantine Basin.

The Tamar platform, which is designed to process 1.2 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day, will be situated in a depth of 800ft.

The Tamar field is expected to contain 8.4 trillion cubic feet of gas, which will be produced through several subsea wells connected to the platform by 150km-long flowlines.

The single-lift topsides facility is expected to have four deck levels weighing approximately 10,000t when completed.
