Otto Energy Completes Philippines 3D Seismic Data Studies

Otto Energy has completed its 3D seismic data acquisition programme in block SC69, offshore Visayas, in the Philippines.

The company said its marine operation had acquired over 210 square kilometres of high quality 3D seismic data since the programme began earlier this month.

The company will now evaluate the acquired seismic data, which is expected to take six months before interpretation.

Otto Energy managing director Paul Morre said the programme was run efficiently, resulting in a high quality product.

“We look forward to maturing the Lampos and Lampos South prospects following the interpretation of the new seismic data over the coming months,” Moore said.
