OGX has received an international licence from the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) for the production and development of the extended well test in Waimea on block BM-C-41 in the Campos Basin, Brazil.

OGX general executive and exploration officer Paulo Mendonca said the company has begun the installation of subsea equipment and the FPSO OSX-1 mooring system, and has entered the final stages for production.

The company will use the Aker Wayfarer vessel for the installation of the FPSO OSX-1 mooring system and will interconnect the flexible lines.

OGX will start the process of connecting the flexible lines to the buoy and will connect it to the FPSO when the mooring system installation is complete.
