Dana Gas Starts Production at Al Basant Fields

UAE-based Dana Gas has started production of gas and condensate from two wells at the Al Basant field in Egypt and expects output from a third field this year, the company has announced. Production at the two wells is 34m cubic feet per day of gas and 1177 barrels per day of condensate.<

The Al Basant field's gas reserves are currently estimated at more than 123bn cubic feet.
