Along with earlier established gas discoveries in the licence the present discovery is in the range of 3-8 billion cubic metres of gas, according to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

Comprehensive data acquisition and sampling have been conducted at well 35/3-7 S.

The Bredford Dolphin drilling rig was used to drill the well at a 257m water depth.
