PTT Restarts Operations at Bongkot Gas Field

Thailand's PTT has restarted operations at its Bongkot natural gas field located in the Gulf of Thailand.

The gas field is now operating at full capacity of 630 million cubic feet per day following a halt for repair work on last week.

The work was completed earlier than expected at the start of this week, the company said.

PTT's subsidiary, PTT Exploration and Production PTTE.BK, holds a 44% stake in the Bongkot field, while Total E&P Thailand, a unit of France-based Total, has a 33% stake.

BG Asia Pacific Pte, part of BG Group, owns the remaining 22% stake.
