Canada's Pacific Rubiales has drilled four more wells at the Quifa and Rubiales blocks in the Los Llanos Basin, Colombia.

The four wells include Quifa-17 drilled on prospect E, Rub-357 on prospect D, Rub-241 and Rub-242.

The Quifa-17 well has indicated the oil water contact (OWC) stands at 2,300ft true vertical depth at sub-sea level (TVDSS) and has hit a net pay zone of 18ft with 31% average porosity.

The Rub-357 appraisal well has reported the OWC at 2,373ft TVDSS for a total gross oil column at the well of 63ft and has hit a net pay zone of 40ft with porosities over 31%.

The findings from these wells will allow the incorporation of more than 1,800 acres of reservoir with an average net pay of 30ft.
