Offshore accommodation company Ferguson Modular has secured a $7.26m (£4.5m) contract to provide Saipem with a complete four-storey accommodation block for workers on board a dredging barge in the Caspian Sea.

According to the contract with Saipem's subsidiary NCSC in Kazakhstan, Ferguson Modular will supply an accommodation complex.

The complex will be installed in spring this year on the dredging barge Castoro 16 at Kuryk, Kazakhstan. The barge will subsequently carry out trenching work in the North Caspian Sea's shallow waters.
